A Curtain
Center for American Architecture and Design, University of Austin, Texas, 2013
A curtain is a collapsible/expandable curtain made out of sheets of mirror foil put together into a flexible structure of hexagonal, hollow cells. This curtain offers a constant interplay between concealing and revealing, seeing and being seen, and being hidden or exposed. A Curtain marks a division of space but is not a closed wall; it is a semipermeable border that does not privilege one position over the other.
