Set Design for Anxietina (The Situation)

For the performance Anxietina (the Situation) the gallery space is transformed into a red living room, with a couch and a TV streaming live news. There are three flags, with the name of the fictional superhero character around which the performance revolves. The flags take use of moiré, an interference pattern, and their message is legible only as an illusion.
